Limit Order
A limit order buys or sells only at a price you set or better, and waits in the order book until it is filled or cancelled.
A buy limit placed below the market fills only if the price falls to it; a sell limit above fills only if the price rises to it. You control the price and give up certainty that the order executes at all.
Limit orders that add to the order book usually pay the lower maker fee, and they are how most take-profit targets are placed.
