Stochastic RSI
Stochastic RSI applies the stochastic formula to the RSI itself, producing a faster oscillator that swings between 0 and 1.
Also known as: StochRSI
It shows where the RSI sits within its own recent range, so it reaches the extremes far more often than RSI does. That makes it a timing tool for short-term entries inside a trend, not a standalone signal.
Its sensitivity is also its weakness: it spends long stretches pinned at an extreme in a strong trend. Read the full Stochastic RSI guide.
