Cup and Handle
Cup and handle is a bullish continuation pattern: a rounded recovery to a prior high (the cup) and a small dip (the handle) before a breakout.
The cup is a U-shaped base after a decline, ending back near the earlier high. The handle is a shallow pullback from that high, and the pattern completes when price closes above the handle's high on rising volume.
It is slow to form, over weeks or months, which makes it a longer-term pattern than flags. See the cup and handle hub.
