All-Time High
An all-time high (ATH) is the highest price an asset has ever reached.
Also known as: ATH
A coin trading at an ATH has no overhead resistance from holders who bought higher, which is why breakouts to new highs can run. It also means there is no reference for where the move stops.
Most coins spend most of their time below their ATH: our bear markets study shows how far each of the largest coins is from its high today. ATH data differ by source, since highs can be measured on closes or on intraday wicks.
